Music
Few new songs I like
I'm going to feel like loitering with George Michael for saying it, but Kelly Rowland's "Work" is an undeniably badass song. I also like Justin Timberlake's album FutureSex LoveSounds. Oh geez what am I doing.... Ok, now maybe some more manly music? Pray from Jay Z's American Gangster album is good. Fergie's "Here I Come".. Oh damn, I did it again! I only like it for Will-I-Am's segment of the song though. Tunes pretty good as well actually.
Ok, so Jay Z isn't a whole lot of justification for the other tracks I listed, but what you gonna do?
Act a fool.

Friends With A Badger
I asked my friend Mac, the other day, to draw a picture called "Friends with a badger". It just went on his site, and it makes me happy. Here it is:

Art
My Mum has always been a painter and a drawer, so i picked up a love for fine arts from her. I don't really draw the same things as her.
These aren't all done. I'll post up the finished drawings some other time. I'm also doing some skatedeck designs, but they are nowhere near postable.
This shoe is almost done. The line around the rising sun is actually meant to be kelly green, but the texta was dirty, and the checked looking thing on the upper heel is actually houndstooth.
This Bear was a wolf, and got fat. ended up looking like a bear.

Duvel
Had this awesome beer the other night at a night out with my Bible Study boys. Duvel from the Duvel Moortgat Brewery in Belgium. 8% or beery goodness.
We went to this Place. Epoque, the Belgian Beer Cafe in Cammeray, Sydney. Holla

Lakai: Fully Flared
Watched the Lakai skate video the other day. Thought about doing a proper review on it, but I'm far too lazy. I'll try to do some proper reviews in the near future. maybe.....
Anyway, I was stoked with the video. Beautiful editing, great soundtrack, and at 1hr 29mins a nice long one too.
Standout was definitely the intro, which demonstrated the budget they put into skate videos. Without giving too much away, though YouTube already has, explosions and fireworks and stuff smashing to smithereens around skaters was intense, but I'll leave you to go watch it and see for yourself.
Favourite parts were Koston, Mike Mo Capaldi, Cairo Foster & Brandon Biebel. They're the ones that stick out in my head anyway.
A few of the songs on the list I had heard on BMX videos before which psyched me up too. (Sidenote: I find that sometimes. I'll be amped on a song because it's been in a video and I recall the footage it went with which is cool, but friends will listen to it and not think of it as a good song 'cos they don't have the same association). Alot of new songs I hadn't heard aswell which was cool, so got a bunch of new songs I like.
Young Jeezy - I Love It ( I think that's one of the songs that aren't really that good but the footage was good)
The Arcade Fire - No Cars Go (In a BMX vid)
Band of Horses - The Funeral (BMX vid i think?)
Public Enemy - Night of the Living Baseheads
Public Enemy - Harder than you think
Overall a very slick video, and well worth getting your hands on if your into any (for need of a better word) "extreme" sports. do it.
